Christian churches must make a clear distinction between what is the secular government of Israel (who deserves our condemnation of the atrocities that does), and the people of Israel (who deserves OUR continuous prayer for salvation), including the Palestinian people. It seems that the Egyptian spirit, oppressive and cruel, was leading the government of Israel, and the spirit of the Jewish people were distressed about the Palestinians. Not all Jews are God's pleasure. Not all Arabs will be condemned by God. When the Bible says: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122.6), refers to the present Jerusalem, where Jews live as Arabs and Christians. "What then?
